Crystaltina prides herself on being multifaceted. She has been published in both academic journals and fashion magazines. Before she transitioned to a creative career, Crystaltina worked at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Brazelton Touchpoints Center and UMass Medical School’s Child Trauma Training Center. Her research and trainings she developed have been cited by experts in Psychology 80+ times. Throughout her life, her volunteerism and advocacy efforts have also gained recognition by various newspapers and talk shows. She has been invited to speak publicly about her experience overcoming adversity numerous times, one of which resulted in fundraising over $1 Million Dollars for Horizons for Homeless Children. Crystaltina in Child Trauma Academia & Awareness

Crystaltina has published 4 scientific research articles since 2017 that have been cited by Psychology experts 80+ times. Her expertise is in Child Welfare & Trauma-Informed Care.

While working at UMass Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry’s Child Trauma Labs: The Child Trauma Training Center & The Massachusetts Child Trauma Project, under NIH, NIMH, NCTSN & SAMHSA grants she developed Trauma-Informed trainings for Clinicians, Police Officers, Teachers, etc. in Trauma-Informed Care, TF-CBT, CPP & ARC.

In collaboration with Harvard, Crystaltina worked at Boston Children’s Hospital’s Brazelton Touchpoints Center where she became a world-expert in a Modified Maltreatment Classification System (MMCS) she helped develop.
